Spring Season

HIGH SCHOOL SPRING LEAGUE(Open)

The Winter/Spring season has practices starting in January. BADA hosts an Open-league, which gives us more rostering flexibility without male/female ratios to contend with, and will allow more of our players to play competitively beyond practice. In Ultimate Frisbee, "Open" generally means that male and female players compete separately.  If possible, we will attempt to host three teams in the Spring - a GirlsX team, and two Open Boys teams. 

DiscoTech will be participating in the Spring High School League in 2026 hosted by BADA.

Practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7PM to 9PM at Oakland Tech High School

Games: Saturdays and Sundays starting after BADA Bongo in early March and wrapping up just in time for Spaghetti Western at the beginning of May.

Format:

7-on-7 (USA Ultimate Rules). Teams will play 1 or 2 games per weekend (depending on field availability).

NOTE: A team's final standing will be used to help the seeding at Spaghetti Western and has historically been used to help with seeding for Boys & Girls HS State Championships, hosted by California Ultimate Association (CUA).
